About Us:
The facility can house up to 200 inmates and has a dedicated staff of 37 dedicated and trained law enforcement detention center personnel.
The Dillon County Detention Center is a division of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Department. The facility provides secure confinement for both adults and juveniles who the Courts have ordered to be detained.
Confinement at the Dillon County Detention Center is conducted in a humane, safe, legally compliant, secure, sanitary, and citizen-centered environment. Detention Center staff are dedicated to and will practice humane, safe, legally compliant, secure, and sanitary detention and incarceration in a professional manner.
It is the mission of the Detention Center to have detainees and inmates properly classified, supervised, and humanely treated at all times. Medical and Mental Health services will be competent and legally compliant and available to those in need of such services.
Detention Center staff are a team of professionals dedicated to keeping citizens safe, while conducting themselves in a professional manner at all times when in contact with those incarcerated in the facility.
- Create an Account: Go to the Securus Registration Portal or download the Securus Mobile App (available on iOS and Android). Complete your user profile by providing your name, phone number, and a photo of an official ID.
- Request Facility Access: Log into your account, navigate to "Add New Site," and search for the Dillon County Detention Center (SC). Submit your request to the facility for approval.
- Fund Your Account: Securus video calls are typically pay-per-minute or flat-rate per session. You must create and load funds into an AdvanceConnect account via the app or website to pay for your sessions.
- Schedule the Session: Once approved by the facility, select the "Securus Video Connect" tile, click Schedule Session, and look up your loved one by name or ID number. Choose an available date, time, and session duration. [
- Join the Call: Log into your Securus Mobile App or the online portal roughly 15 minutes before your scheduled slot. Ensure you have enabled camera, microphone, and notification permissions on your device to answer the incoming call.
⚠️ Video Visitation Policy
There are NO on-site visitations permitted at the Dillon County Detention Center.
All face-to-face contact must be done remotely from your home computer or mobile device using Securus Video Connect.
